Simple. Private. The Right Way.

Here is exactly what happens when you join Dar Al Mawaddah — from the moment you apply to the moment you meet.

The Steps

Every step is designed to protect your dignity, honor your faith, and keep your family involved from the very beginning.

You Apply

1

Fill in a simple application telling us who you are, what you value, and what you are looking for in a spouse. This is not a dating profile — it is a character profile. We review every application manually before anyone is accepted.

You Get Verified

2

Once we review your application and you are accepted, you become part of the Registry. Your profile is completely private — no one can search for you or browse your information.

We Do the Work

3

You do not search through profiles. We do that for you. Our team reviews the Registry and looks for people who are genuinely compatible — in deen, values, and what they are looking for in a marriage.

A Match is Suggested

4

When we find someone we believe could be right for you, we reach out to both of you separately. Neither of you knows who the other person is at this stage. There is no pressure — you simply say yes or no.

Only when both parties agree does anything move forward. At this point your Wali is brought in. We then share a Character Profile with the Wali and facilitate a proper, guided introduction — the halal way.

From here, the families take the lead. We are here to support the process — providing guidance, structure, and access to pre-marriage counselling if needed. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is left to chance.

Both say Yes

What You Will Never Find Here

This platform is structured to protect the sanctity of marriage.

No swiping. No public profiles. No direct messaging between strangers. No casual browsing. No pressure.Dar Al Mawaddah is not an app. It is a service — run by real people, built on real values, for people who are ready for something real.

It is narrated on the authority of Amirul Mu'minin, Abu Hafs 'Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration (hijrah) was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated.

A Note on the Wali

The role of the Wali is not a formality here — it is a foundation. From the moment a mutual match is agreed, your Wali is involved in every step of the introduction. If you are unsure about the Wali process or need guidance on how it works, we have a full guide available for you and your family.

It starts with a simple application.

We take it from there.
